Michelle Reed Baker is in her nineteenth season as second horn with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. She also serves on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music and Mannes College of Music. Previously, she was a member of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and was a regular substitute in the New York Philharmonic. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Music at the University of Houston and her Master of Music at the Juilliard School.
